Dr Paul Saunders graduated from University of Queensland in 2000. His initial training saw him rotating through multiple general surgical roles before extensive training in Emergency Medicine. He then completed General Practice training in 2012 and holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He is currently completing a Masters of Medicine in Skin Cancer through University of Queensland.
Paul is a Director of Newcastle Skin Check and an accredited Skin Cancer Surgeon at both Charlestown Private and Lingard Private Hospitals. In addition he continues to work part time as an Assistant Orthopaedic Surgeon over the last 6 years at multiple local private hospitals.
Dr Saunders is a dad with 3 children. His hobbies include playing and making acoustic guitars and travelling.
