Dr Botes studied medicine at the University of Newcastle where he graduated with distinction. Following this he became a fellow of the Royal College of GP's. Dr Botes has completed Professional and Advanced Certificates and Professional Diplomas of Skin Cancer Medicine, Skin Cancer Surgery and Skin Dermoscopy, and is currently completing his Masters of Medicine - Skin Cancer (UQ)
Outside of work he is a very proud father of two, loves all sports and enjoys spending time with his family.
